Spring Minishakers
Featuring music by Milkshake and other children’s favorites.
"Minishakers" is a rockin’ music class that encourages kids to sing, play instruments and dance to live music. The class will feature music from the Grammy nominated children's band Milkshake as well as traditional children's songs and adult favorites. The classes include songs, finger plays, bubbles, parachute and other exploration. Minishakers is not only an enjoyable class for children, but parents/caregivers will also have a great time! All children enrolled in MInishakers will have the unique opportunity to experience an exclusive performance by Lisa and Mikel of Milkshake in an intimate setting in lieu of one of the classes.

This is the essential Music Together class, one that a child can attend from birth through age five- and through all nine song collections. This basic class follows the recommendations of child development reserachers- grouping children of various ages in one class. This approach fosters natural, family-style learning where younger children enjoy watching and imitating older ones; older children learn by leading younger ones; and adults are happy because the children in the family can go to class together.
Each child participates at his or her development in singing, moving, chanting, listening, observing or exploring musical instruments. We welcome the whole family to join in this important family music experience and any caregiver- parents, grandparents, nanny can bring the child(ren) to class.
We use a variety of props and instruments to make experiencing the music fun and engaging.
Tuition includes:
Weekly 45- minute classes teaching a new song collection every Fall, Winter and Spring. Available a second day? Come to another class at no additional charge.
New CD's each semester with the songs, rhythm chants, "play-alongs", tonal and rhythm patterns used in class.

The Music Together program was first offered to the public in 1987. Today classes are offered all over the world including a lab school in Princeton, NJ. The program encourages family participation in spontaneous musical activity occurring within the context of daily life. There are 9 collections in the program and the collections are not sequential. A family may begin at any time with any collection. Music Together recognizes that all children are musical and that every child needs a stimulating, supportive music environment to achieve basic competence in the wonderful human capacity for music-making. We have lots of fun and we feel like “family”. Kids and families who take Music Together tell us years later what a difference it has made in their early years.
Our registered Music Together teachers use a variety of props and instruments to make experiencing the music fun and engaging.
