Policies
How To Register
Early Registration is strongly advised, as classes may fill quickly. All forms must have a signature by a parent or guardian prior to attending class. You can register by phone, online or in person.
Payment
Membership fees are payable in full at the time of registration. Acceptable forms of payment include: cash and credit card (Visa or Mastercard). When payment is received, you will receive confirmation.
Cancellations
CCKC reserves the right to cancel or modify classes and faculty.
Discounts
Charm City Kids Club is pleased to offer discounts for twins. Pay full price for the first child and get 25% off second child. CCKC also offers discounts for siblings enrolled in "Minishakers." The first child pays full price and siblings are 25% off. CCKC also offers multiple class discounts. Pay full price for the first class and receive $15 off each additional class.
Refunds
All refund requests must be submitted in writing. For classes, full refunds will be issued prior to the first class of each semester minus a $20 processing fee. No refund will be issued after the first class of each semester. After the first class a credit will be given to use for future classes. There are no refunds on membership, camps or deposits paid for birthday parties, camps or special events.
Attendance and Make-ups
For each class, three make-ups are permitted per child within a semester. Make-ups must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance and can be accommodated in classes only if make-up spots are available. Make-ups do not carry over from previous semesters. No refunds will be issued for missed classes. If your child has special medical circumstances requiring more than three make-up classes, please speak with us directly.
Safety/Sickness
With the exception of drop-off classes, children must stay within arm's reach of a parent or caregiver at all times.
Please keep sick children at home. We reserve the right to send the child home to get well at our discretion and offer a make-up class.
Children enrolled in a drop-off class must be escorted to and from the classroom by their parent/caregiver.
Children can not be enrolled in a drop-off class unless they are fully potty trained. If they are not fully potty trained, parents/caregiver must remain on the premises throughout the class.
Please be sure to completely fill out the medical portion of the member information form and sign the release in case of an emergency.
If a child has an allergy that requires an epipen, an adult must remain on the premises at all times.
Contact Information
It is the responsibility of the member to ensure that CCKC has the most up-to-date contact information on file for correspondence, including mailing address, email address, and phone number.
Classes
All classes for newborns to age two require a parent or caregiver in attendance. All classes for potty trained 3 year olds are separation optional. Only one adult per child, please. All classes for four and five year olds are drop-off classes. Adults are required to remain on the premises.
Class Etiquette
Please turn off your cell phones or set them to vibrate. If you need to take a call, please step outside the classroom.
If your child becomes upset during class, please step outside and return when your child feels better.
Please keep your voices low and your conversations to a minimum. Anyone disturbing the class may be asked to leave the room.
Please remain within arm's reach of your child at all times.
For the comfort of all participants in each class, only one adult per child is permitted in each class. If an additional adult would like to attend the class, please inquire at the front desk.
There is no outside food or drinks allowed in the classrooms. If your child needs to eat/drink, please step outside to waiting area and return when your child is finished.
Food Allergy Awareness
CCKC is food-allergy aware and committed to providing a safe environment for our members. Therefore, we request that you do not bring nuts or foods containing nut ingredients onto the premises.
Play Space
CCKC's indoor play space can be utilized by members and nonmembers. At CCKC we like it to be clean and safe. Bring your socks because CCKC's play town is a shoe-less, sock only environment for children and adults. All parents and caregivers are responsible for their child's safety and supervision in the playspace and are required to be within an arm's reach of their child at all times. Non-compliance with this policy may result in dismissal for the day and may result in the termination of playspace and/or membership privileges at CCKC. There is no outside food or drinks allowed in the play space. If your child needs to eat/drink, please step outside to the waiting area and return when your child is finished. Playspace hours are subject to change. On occasion, playspace may be closed for special events and activities. Please check CCKC's website and facebook for updates regarding closings and special events.
Stroller Policy
Strollers are not permitted beyond check-in, per fire safety regulations.
Personal Belongings
CCKC is not responsible for the loss of any personal belongings.
Member Agreement
Members agree to allow CCKC to use photos taken of their families for archival and publicity purposes. If you not want your child's picture to be used for publicity purposes, please let CCKC know when you register. By registering at CCKC, members agree to follow all policies and procedures for the facility. CCKC has the right to update policies at any time.
Retail Policy
Special orders are final sales and cannot be returned or exchanged. All other purchases from CCKC may be exchanged within two (2) weeks of the date of purchase for store credit. Receipts are mandatory for all returns and CCKC does not give refunds. All returns must be in their original packaging and in unworn condition. While our policies are firm for obvious reasons, we will do everything we can to work with you and make sure your experience with CCKC is positive.
Membership
Families have the option to become members of CCKC. If you decide to become a member you pay a one time lifetime membership fee of $99. Membership includes the following: unlimited play in CCKC's play town for one child for thirty days from the date you join, six complimentary play space passes, one CCKC cd, 10% off birthday parties and classes, discounts for special events and an annual live performance by The Milkshake Duo for Earth Day. Members that are currently enrolled in classes can play in CCKC's play town for free any day for the weeks that the class is in session . Siblings can play for free in CCKC's play town with a parent/caregiver while an older child (3 and up) takes a class independently. You do not have to be a member to take classes, have a party or play in CCKC's play town.
